AIMET 2009
All India Management Entrance Test (AIMET)
This is a common entrance test conducted by India Internet Learning Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a testing body. AIMET score is valid for two years. AIMET is conducted on behalf of various business schools in the country, for the benefit of both the students and the institutes.

28 Institutes across India accept AIMET score. Some premier institutes in Mumbai accepting AIMET score are SIES, Dalmia, IES. Please visit the AIMET website www.aimetindia.com for a detailed list of institutes.
Eligibility
Keeping in line with the international testing procedure, AIMET for the first time in India introduces a 2- year validity for the AIMET scores. A candidate who has either completed or is expecting to complete graduation by Sept 2004 is eligible to apply. Scores obtained in the Feb 2005 test will be valid for admissions to 2005- 2007 academic programmes.
Thus a student in the penultimate (year before final) year of the degree course is also eligible for the test. By this the AIMET test preparation will not clash with the final year test preparation and the students will have a chance to better the scores next year.
All the colleges offering post- graduate management programme requires a candidate to complete his/her graduation.

Selection process.
The candidate is required to take the AIMET written test to be held in mid February 2005.
The candidate needs to apply separately to the Business Schools affiliated to AIMET.
AIMET scores will have to be submitted by the candidate to all the Business Schools he/she applies to.
It is the prerogative of the Business School to call the candidate for the subsequent round of selection process.
After taking the candidate through their selection process, the Business School will decide on the admission of a candidate
