Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) conduct a Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) every year for the admission to its B-Tech and other courses offered at the IIT’s in INDIA. Here you can download question papers with their answers OF IIT JEE examination held on Sunday, April 10, 2011.

You will be aware of the paper pattern of IIT JEE , there are two question papers, each of three hours duration.

Both the question papers will consist of three separate sections on Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. They will be of objective type, designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.

Part A

(2×8=16)

(A) Point out the nouns in the following sentences and say whether they are common, Proper, collective or abstract?

(a) We all love honesty.

(b) A committee of five was appointed.

(B) Supply suitable adjectives:-

(a) Every cloud has a lining.

(b) This is a very matter.

(a) How blue sky looks!

(b) I like to live in open air.

(D) Write the correct form of pronoun in the following:-

(a) Nobody but was present. (He, His)

(b) We scored as many goals as (They, Them)

Part B

Note: Attempt any six of the following:- (6×4=24)

Q1. Write a letter to your younger brother, scolding him for having neglected his studies.

Q2. What do you mean by a precise. What are the main points to be kept in mind while making a précise.

Q3. How can we distinguish the stressed and the unstressed words in a sentence.

Q4. What do you mean by comprehensive?

Q5. Differentiate between scanning & skimming skills?
