<li>Go to the nearest Bank of Baroda Branch with the Fee payment  Challan and pay, in Cash, the appropriate Application Fee in Account  No.29040200000199 with Bandra Kurla Complex Branch in favour of  &#8220;RECRUITMENT OF -1500- CLERICAL STAFF &#8211; PROJECT 2011&#8243;. <li>Candidates are now ready to Apply On-Line by re-visiting the  Recruitment Page of the Bank&#8217;s website and going to the sublink titled  &#8220;ON-LINE APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT OF -1500- CLERICAL STAFF- PROJECT  2011&#8243;<strong>. Click on this sublink will open up the appropriate On-Line Application Format.</strong></li>
<li>Carefully fill in the necessary details from the Fee Payment Challan in the On-Line Application Form at the appropriate places.</li>
<li><strong>Original counterfoil of the fee payment challan will have to be submitted with the Call Letter at the time of written test. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Without counterfoil of the fee payment challan the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the written test.</span> Candidates are therefore advised to keep -3- PHOTOCOPIES of the fee payment challan for future use.</strong></li>

<p>The total number of vacancies and reserved vacancies given hereunder, are  provisional and which may vary depending upon future needs of the Bank.</p>
<p>2. HOW TO APPLY :-<span id="more-1825"></span></p>
<ol>
<li>Candidates are required to apply Online through website <a href="http://www.bankofbaroda.com/recruitment.asp?artid=2336&amp;modid=36" target="_blank"> www.bankofbaroda.com</a>.  No other means/ mode of application will be  accepted.</li>
<li><strong>Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID. </strong>It should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment  project. Bank may send call letters for written test, interview etc. through the  registered email ID. <strong>Under no circumstances, he/she should share/  mention email ID to/ or of any other person.</strong></li>
<li>In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he/she should  create his/ her new email ID before applying Online.</li>
<li>Applicants are first required to go to the Bank&#8217;s website  www.bankofbaroda.com and open the link &#8216;Recruitment&#8217;. Thereafter, open the  Recruitment Notification entitled Bank of Baroda &#8216;OFFICERS RECRUITMENT PROJECT &#8211;  2011&#8242;</li>
<li>Take a print of the entire Recruitment Notification, including the &#8216;FEES  PAYMENT CHALLAN&#8217;.</li>
<li>Fill in the Fee Payment Challan in a clear and legible handwriting in BLOCK  LETTERS.</li>
<li>Go to the nearest Bank of Baroda Branch with the Fee Payment Challan duly  filled in and pay, in Cash the appropriate Application Fee in <strong>Account No  29040200000198</strong> with Bandra Kurla Complex Branch, Mumbai, in favour of  &#8220;Bank of Baroda OFFICERS&#8217; RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2011-12&#8243;. The amount of fee to be  paid is indicated below :<strong> </strong><strong> APPLICATION FEE (INCLUDING POSTAGE CHARGES)  (NON-REFUNDABLE)</strong>

<li>Application once made will not be allowed to be withdrawn and fees once paid  will NOT be refunded on any count nor can it be held in reserve for any other  examination or selection.</li>

<li>Obtain the Counterfoil (Applicant&#8217;s Copy) of the Fee Payment Challan duly  received by the Bank with (a) Branch Name &amp; Code Number (b) Transaction ID  (c) Date of Deposit &amp; Amount filled by the Branch Official.</li>
<li>Candidates are now ready to apply Online by re-visiting the Recruitment Page  of the Bank&#8217;s website and going to the sublink titled &#8220;Online APPLICATION FOR  BANK OF BARODA OFFICERS&#8217; RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2011-12&#8243;. Click on this sublink  will open up the appropriate Online Application Format.</li>
<li>Carefully fill in the necessary details from the Fee Payment Challan in the  Online Application Form at the appropriate places and submit the same Online.</li>
<li>Original counterfoil of the fee payment challan will have to be submitted  with the Call Letter at the time of written test. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Without counterfoil of the  fee payment challan, the candidates will not be allowed to appear in the written  test.</span> Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep 3 photocopies of the fee  payment challan for future use.</li>
<li>The name of the candidate or his/ her father/ husband etc should be spelt  correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates/ mark sheets. Any  change/ alteration found may disqualify the  <strong>candidature.</strong></li>

<p><strong>EMOLUMENTS :-</strong></p>
<p>PAY :- Selected Candidates will be on probation for a period of one year.  They will draw salary in the scale of Rs.  14500-600&#215;7/18700-700&#215;2/20100-800&#215;7/25700 applicable to Junior Management Grade/  Scale I. They will also be eligible for DA, HRA &amp; CCA, as per rules in force  from time to time. At present, initial monthly emoluments of Junior Management  Grade/ Scale I Officer, including DA, HRA, CCA are approximately Rs. 23,000/- in  a Metropolitan Centre.</p>
<p><strong>ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND GENERAL INFORMATION:-</strong></p>

Degree in any  discipline from a recognized University OR<br />
Any equivalent qualification  recognized by Central Government<br />
Should possess a certificate in Computer  Literacy (Proficient in MSOffice, Basic Applications, Internet Usage etc.)</li>
<li><strong>Age (As on 01.01.2011) Minimum 21 years, Maximum 30 years Relaxation  in Upper Age Limit<br />
</strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates by 5 years</li>
<li>Other Backward Classes candidates by 3 years</li>
<li>In the case of Ex-servicemen and Commissioned Officers including ECOs/ SSCOs  who have rendered atleast 5 years military service and have been released on  completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be  completed within the next one year from the last date for receipt of  application) other than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of  misconduct or inefficiency or on account of physical disability attributable to  military service or on being declared as invalid, by 5 years for selection  through written test &amp; interview, subject to ceiling, as per Govt.  Guidelines.</li>
<li>All persons who have ordinarily been domiciled in Kashmir Division of J  &amp; K State during 01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989 by 5 years</li>

<p>IndianOil is looking for bright result–oriented professionals to join its journey of growth. Applications are invited for the position of <strong>Engineers/ Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs)</strong> in the <span id="more-1813"></span>following engineering disciplines:</p>

<li><strong>Chemical Engineering (Including Petrochemicals engineering)</strong></li>

<li><strong>Electrical Engineering ( including Electrical &amp; Electronics engineering but excluding Electrical &amp; Communication/ Telecommunication engineering)</strong></li>
<li><strong>Instrumentation Engineering (Including Electronics &amp; Instrumentation engineering but excluding Electronics &amp; Communication engineering/ Telecommunication engineering)</strong></li>
<li><strong>Mechanical Engineering (excluding Production/ Manufacturing/ Industrial engineering)</strong></li>
<li><strong>Metallurgical Engineering</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Educational Qualification :-</strong><br />
Minimum educational qualification for employment in above mentioned positions are :<br />
Candidates should have passed qualifying degree examinations and awarded bachelor’s degree in engineering/ technology in the above mentioned disciplines (full time regular courses only) from recognized Indian Universities / Institutes.</p>
<p>Candidates (belonging to general and OBC category) should have secured minimum 65% marks in qualifying degree examinations. It is relaxed to ‘pass class’ for SC/ST/PH candidates.</p>
<p><strong>Candidates currently in final year of their engineering studies may also apply.</strong> However, if selected, they must be in a position to submit their final mark sheet by 31st July 2011.</p>
<p><strong>Age Limit </strong>: Maximum 26 years as on 30th June 2011 for the general category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PH candidates will be applicable as per the Presidential Directive.</p>
<p><strong>Remuneration Package</strong> :  Candidates selected as engineers/officers will receive a provisional starting basic pay of Rs.24,900/-per month.</p>
<p><strong>Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs</strong>) : Candidates selected as GAEs for one-year apprenticeship training will be paid consolidated stipend @ Rs.20,000/- per month.</p>
<p><strong>Physical Fitness :</strong>-<br />
Desirous candidates seeking employment with IndianOil needs to be medically fit as per IndianOil’s pre-employment medical standard. Candidates are advised to go through the ‘Guidelines and Criteria for Physical Fitness for Pre-employment medical Examination’ before they commence the application process. <p>On the basis of GATE-2011 score, the candidates will be short listed for further <strong>selection process</strong> comprising of :</p>
<ul>
<li>Group Discussion / Group Task</li>
<li>Personal Interview for assessment of different facets of knowledge, skill, attitude and aptitude.</li>
<li>Please note that only GATE-2011 score is valid for this recruitment exercise. GATE score of 2010 or prior to that is not valid.</li>
</ul>
<p>Candidates will have to qualify through each stage of selection process successfully before being adjudged as suitable for selection.</p>
<p>Selected candidates shall have all-India transfer liability and may be posted to any Division / Unit / Subsidiary Company / Office of the Corporation.</p>
<p>General category candidates will have to execute a bond of Rs.1,00,000 (Rs.25000/- for SC/ST/OBC &amp; PH candidates) to serve the Corporation for a minimum period of three years from the date of joining (date of appointment as Engineer in case of GAEs after successful completion of training).</p>

<h2><strong>APPLICATION procedure<br />
</strong></h2>
<ol>
<li>GATE-2010 is scheduled on <strong>13th February 2011</strong>. For detailed information on GATE-2011, interested candidates may log on to <strong><a href="http://www.gate.iitm.ac.in/" target="_blank">http://www.gate.iitm.ac.in</a></strong> or websites of other IITs and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.</li>
<li>Candidates <strong>need to purchase the GATE application form</strong> as per the information provided in GATE-2011 websites. They should <strong>fill-in and submit</strong> the GATE application form as instructed by the GATE authorities and wait for the <strong>admit card</strong> to get the GATE registration number</li>
<li>The candidates will receive their <strong>GATE-2011 registration number</strong> printed on their admit card. On receipt of GATE registration number, the candidates need to apply to IndianOil <strong>on-line. The relevant link will be made available from 10th January 2011 at the ‘Careers’ link of IndianOil website <a href="http://www.iocl.com/" target="_blank">www.iocl.com</a>.</strong></li>
<li>Candidates should <strong>click on</strong> the on-line application link, <strong>read the instructions</strong> carefully and <strong>fill-in the on-line application form</strong> giving accurate information including the <strong>GATE-2011 registration number</strong>.</li>
<li>Upon completion, the candidate should <strong>submit</strong> the online application by clicking the Submit button at the bottom of the page. If the same is accepted, the system will generate a <strong>unique application ID</strong> along with the completed application form.</li>
<li>Candidate should take a <strong>print out</strong> of completed application, <strong>affix</strong> his/her recent passport size photograph, put his/ her <strong>signature </strong>at the space provided and keep with him/ her safely for future reference.</li>
<li>The passport size photograph affixed by the candidate should be the <strong>same</strong> submitted along with GATE-2011 application form. In case the candidate called for GD/GT and interview, he/she should come with this <strong>printed application form</strong>, along with <strong>GATE-2011 admit card</strong> and <strong>GATE-2011 official score card</strong>.</li>
</ol>

<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.10.2010) :</strong><strong><br />
Educational Qualification</strong><br />
i) Minimum 12th Standard (10 + 2) or equivalent qualification thereof with a  minimum of 60% marks (55% SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS)<br />
<strong>OR</strong><br />
ii) Diploma Course passed after 10th Standard with a minimum of 60% marks (55%  SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS), provided;<br />
(a) Diploma course passed must be a full time course (Diploma course through correspondence are not eligible) with a minimum of two years duration<br />
(b) The Diploma course should be recognized / approved by the State Board of  Technical Education of the concerned State.<br />
<strong>OR</strong><br />
iii) A degree (Graduation level) from recognized university with a minimum of  40% marks (35% for SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS)</p>
<p><strong>Probation period</strong> : Minimum period of 6 months. Before the probation period comes to an end, the performance of the newly recruited employees will be evaluated and the probation period of these employees whose performance fails to meet Bank’s expectation, may be extended.</p>
<p><strong>Selection Procedure :</strong><br />
All eligible candidates should apply on-line before the last date for  registration of application.<br />
a. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the written test and interview taken together. The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be printed in bilingual i.e., English &amp; Hindi.</p>
<p>b. The written test will be of Objective type consisting of (i) General Awareness (ii) General English (iii) Quantitative Aptitude (iv) Reasoning Ability (v) Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge</p>
<p>There will be negative marks for the wrong answers in the Objective tests. Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.</p>
<p><strong>Date of written examination : 16.01.2011 (Sunday)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Application Fee </strong>: Rs. 250/- (for SC/ST/PWD/XS Rs.50/- only) to be deposited in any branch of SBI by a prescribed deposit slip and get receipt upto 30/10/2010. Details of the payment should be entered in online application form.</p>

<p>The selected candidates will undergo training for a period of one year on a consolidated stipend of Rs.20,800/- On successful completion of the training period they will be appointed as Engineer (contract) for 3years . On successful completion of Contract appointment ,absorbed as Technical Officer in the in the pay scale of Rs16400-40,500/-</p>
